I combine thrown and slab-built forms to get at shapes that feel structural and organic at the same time — things that look like they could have grown that way.

Surface is just as important to me as form: I work with a range of glazes and ceramic decals, and I'm drawn to the conversation between the two.

I'm currently based in Indianapolis, IN and have a studio at the Fountain Square Clay Center.
